By now, just about everybody has heard of the disagreements between Google and the Chinese government. Chances are you also heard that Google has also decided that they are pulling their search engine out of China. Whether this is Google’s way of making a stand against the injustices of the Chinese Government or China’s way of sending a message to all those that try to revolt against them, is unknown. The only thing that is known for sure is that Google is leaving China and will now lose their users from that corner of the market.
In light of this fact, will this present Bing with a much needed opportunity to gain some ground against Google? Well, the answer is definitely yes. The real question is will Microsoft stand up to the Chinese Government or turn a blind eye to the human rights issues and censorship that occurs in this nation on a daily basis. While they stand a good chance of picking up the Chinese market to do so will mean forming an alliance with the Chinese Government and while the Chinese may appreciate Bing coming to the rescue, how will American’s feel about such an opportunistic move?
Look at it this way, Google made a stand against the injustices, something that many other businesses have not done due to the fear of losing the market. Americans have stood behind Google during this time, and respect them for putting what is right, ahead of making a profit for their business. Therefore, why would they respect Bing or Microsoft if they sell themselves and their belief short to gain the Chinese market on the internet.
Perhaps while the wound is fresh this could have some impact on their presence in the U.S. market, but over time chances are people will forget all about Google’s war with the Chinese Government, and return to using Bing just as much as they did before. The growing popularity of this search engine indicates that they are on the rise and even interaction with China is probably not going to break that trend at least for now.
With all the injustices in the world, it would be nice if more companies took a stand and followed the lead that Google has set. However, the truth is that many business may only look at what profits Google has lost, instead of the power that possessed by standing up to these injustices.

The biggest reason blog readers don’t leave comments - or click away before they’ve even finished your blog post or article - is because you haven’t given them any new ideas to chew on… or any reason.
Your readers are also investors, and investors need to be convinced the venture they’re going spend their hard-earned time on is worth it.
However, as a blogger, you may feel that you are just repeating yourself over and over. What topic can motivate you or excite you? Frankly it seems like just another duty to be endured.
Let me share with you some ideas which have helped me when I get into the blog doldrums. These ideas came to me quite fortuitously. I find that they also work wonderfully on readers to encourage them to leave their comments and linkback information.
1. Take the opposite position! If you preach on and on about the wonders of walking in the morning, find reasons for walking at nights or evenings and blog about that!!
2. Take a shortcut. One of my favorite shortcuts is to visit Scribd.com, and read something interesting - and timely - from their “Trending” section. The beauty of this lies in the fact that what’s being trended is popularity and user driven - which means it’s currently on people’s minds. And if what you’ve read that’s so interesting doesn’t relate to your niche, I guarantee that if you write your own posts at all, it will still most likely spark an idea - a tangent, perhaps; but something related to your readership, and a new, fresh thought for you.
3. Use a “family story” to create or sell an idea. You can think of many events in your family which gave you pause for thought and from which you learnt an important life lesson. Start by stating the lesson in general terms then illustrate with a story. People prefer to hear stories over a lesson.
4. Be calm. Every idea will not be an instant hit. Think of your blog site as a constructing a building, from the foundation to the roof. A building in which your readers find value and interest. So lay your foundation carefully and make it a habit to put your readers’ interest first. They will come back for more.
5. Piggyback-post. The most effective way to do this is to take a hot topic currently under blog discussion, and summarize 4 or 5 top arguments on other blogs, crediting the authors. Not only can this provoke an immediate linkback from the (top-level) author in question, people will find it more authoritative (if you’re relatively new to the game) than your personal opinion… and the hot topic has already been identified for you.
6. Seek what is not said. Just as you would do when checking a competing product, identify what is missing. Develop that view and post it.
7. Read the Comments on Authority Blogs. Go to these sites, thouroughly read the comments and use the keywords mentioned in the comments. This will give you a good start for an idea or topic which will be of interest to your readers and will draw traffic to your site.
All of these worked for me at one time or other. Try them. They will engage your readers and generate a flood of backlinks to your site.

Lets face it; many people who are just starting out their new business are looking to save money. There are many ways to go about this; however cutting back on your SEO services and trying to do your own online marketing may cost you more money than you are saving.
Marketing is a whole new game when it’s online. You are not working to catch the public eye, it’s a much trickier audience that you have to get to. Search engine spiders rate your website layout and look at the keywords utilized too. Search engines are not stagnant. They are an ever shifting component of a constantly updating online world. To be able to keep up with whats going on takes a load of work.
So in answer to your question-Yes, you could probably do SEO management for yourself, if you have the time and energy to dedicate to doing the research, making the changes, and of course you have the knowledge to do all these things, including putting in the appropriate keywords etc. But honestly, if you are just starting out in your own business you probably don’t have the time to do all this additional work yourself.
If after thinking about it you think the best course of action is not doing SEO work in house, all the better. If you are hoping your business will get bigger without an SEO then you will need years to wait and see if it happens. People have to muck through so much to find things online because the internet is packed so full of endless information. An SEO pushes information to the top of the muck where its visible.
There is no way around it that using an SEO is an absolute must for your companies future. Don’t plan on going without it because then you will end up with nothing to plan at all. A business simply can’t survive online without using an SEO.

The incredible thing about the web is the increasing domination by the major players. Google and Microsoft, Microsoft and Google, is there really anyone else in control of the information highway? Truthfully while Yahoo was never a search engine superpower, it has been holding its own on the web, well that is at least until they struck a deal with Microsoft, that’s right, now Microsoft will be taking over Yahoo search
Yahoo has been trading away assets left and right at least of late, since their current chief executive officer Carol Bartz assumed the helm. Only rather than bringing in the boastful alterations that this search engine called for in order to repossess some of their force on the internet she has little by little sold away bits of this company cutting it to nothing more than a inferior presence on the internet the equivalent of AOL.
Microsoft made it look like this modification would benefit both companies in essence they are plainly wiping out more of their rivals which aids them in driving their newest venture Bing into a 2nd dominating position to Google, still clearly ranged substantially superior any another rival. In the long run, this lack of option will cost consumers more money because the fewer rivals there are the further companies may charge for their services bringing about no option but to pay the extremely- exaggerated charges that they dish up.
Ultimately, Microsoft gaining Yahoo search will bring down this one time rival to nothing more than a humble influence among the net. This means that there will essentially be simply two SEs among the net and these participants are Google and Bing and that being said this will allow for not solely a gain in the cost of things like pay-per-click ads but will also restrict the users to finding exclusively what these two SEs take for important. Since each SE runs its personal algorithm this will greatly impact internet commercializing across-the-board.
And while it might be great to see Yahoo attempt and gain a little ground from these two net giants for today it’s time to say sayonara to Yahoo search. We can simply hope that soul else brings forth a fresh SE that could give these two companies a run for their net worth.
There are many ways that a SEO company can make certain that their website has the greatest Search engine optimisation. If you are a newly established business and want some assistance with getting your company off the ground visit www.seomoves.com.au.

If you have a website, then you should know that you are paid per click. There might be many product reviews with you but you should know that you have to count the number of clicks through various search engines. You can build any application on your site which will help you to count the number of clicks. But this is a very hectic job. However there are many sites on the internet which just ask you to upload the product feeds. You just need to activate the feed now. Once you will do this then the site will start counting the number of clicks through that search engine. In most of the sites there is one option through which you can select a search engine. Different sites support different sets of search engines.
Let us see that how these sites works. The steps followed by these sites are as follows:
1. The first step comprises of uploading and you will just have to upload the master file. This contains the whole detail of the product. Once you upload the file you have completed the first step.
2. The second step is related to the reviewing. You will find that most of such sites give you the freedom to review your products. You can review each and every product. Thus you will be able to do the amendments if there is any required. The next step will be of activation.
3. In the third step you will have to select the category and then activate the feed by selecting the right search engines. You should select the best search engines for this purpose. Once you will click on the button then your feed will be activated. Suppose in the future you want to deactivate your feed then you can do that by just coming back to this section and then pressing the deactivate option which is being provided by almost all such sites.
4. After this just sit back and observe. You will just have to sit back and wait for the number of clicks to be displayed and when it is displayed then you will have to note it down. Do not worry at all. You will just have to sit back and this application will count for you endlessly unless and until you deactivate your product. Thus you will definitely have a very good time using these websites.
SEO is becoming popular and so is this website which has now become very popular.

By now surely you have heard about the mayor of Topeka , Kansas and how he was changing the name of his city from Topeka to Google in honor of the internet giant. Well, since this moving gesture by the mayor of Topeka or Google as it is now known Google the internet search engine has been looking for a way to acknowledge this gesture and now they have landed on the perfect way to honor the mayor.
If you log onto Google, after 1 a.m. on April 1,2010 you will be looking at the logo Topeka, instead of Google. That’s right, Google has official changed its name to Topeka. This was a decision that was deliberated for some time, and careful consideration was given. While deciding on weather or not to go through with this Google, or should I say Topeka, researchers looked into the city and realized that the two had more in common then they ever thought.
While the City of Topeka, KS had spent 150 years as the starting point for new exploration in the west, Google had 150 months of being the starting up point for business on the internet. And while Topeka is a good place to dig up some potatoes, Google is a good place to dig for the information you need.
A region rich in past history and with Google’s historic presence as well, they believed that this collaboration brought Google and Topeka to corresponding points at times and felt a certain amity with the region that could not be overturned. Naturally for Google this will mean abandoning their name brand and the association that goes along with that brand recognition, however, they really feel as if this alteration will be one that will help them in the future.
Although many believe that this is one big April Fools Joke, it has yet to be seen. So from this point on new internet terms are as follows: Instead of Googled it, you will now say Topeked it; instead of Google Maps, it is now Topeka Maps; and instead of Googlers, you will be Topekians.
There are many seo companies that will offer you the best service possible, but how do you know they can deliver on their promises. If you are searching for a reputable search engine optimization company visit www.seomoves.co.uk.

Many business owners frown when it comes time to building effective links. This is a task that is not only time consuming, but extremely boring. This is why, when you are ready to tackle the task you should make certain what your time restraints are, and what your resources are, as this will assist you in achieving successful link building results. It is also wise to know what the misconceptions of link building are, and to add some creativity to your links. These steps will assist your business in achieving some of the best links you have ever seen.
In the decision process of which links to choose, one usually takes into account Google PageRank as well as the site’s relevance. Although, these are both important, they should not to be overly emphasized at the link building opportunity’s expense.
Google PR, or PageRank, is the ranking that Google gives a specific page that it crawls. PR is useful in a general sense for showing a site’s range and scope. If you try to decipher the differences that make a PR3 and a PR4 you will go batty, and that is not conducive to link building. Additionally, PR is not a good representation of Google’s system, since a PR0 link can prove equally as useful as one from a PR3 site.
The general way of thinking is that the more valued links are from those with relevant, similar themed pages. This can be true, but taking it at face value can lead to missed chances. The better links are always on similar themed websites, or those in the same industry, but links that are not can also be of use. Common sense should be used, but don’t pass up an opportunity simply due to lack of shared themes.
Provided you can procure your instinctive ways to value inbound links, sans relying on PR, increasing links to your site will come naturally. It will also prove to be more natural in your link profile.
search engine optimisation refers to building a web page that will be discovered by search engines. For more information on this topic log onto seo moves at www.seomoves.com.au.
