A lot of money I make, and probably one of the best and easiest ways make money is to sell a product using a ‘Mini-site’. A mini-site is a small site which generally consists of only few pages. A sales, or ‘Pitch’ page, and maybe a contact and about us page. More can be added, but seldom are.
One Reason you want such a simple site for your online business is because, you really only want people to do one thing when they are there. That could be anything a product, reading some information, or joining your mailing list. I think you get the point. Whatever that action you want that visitor to take generally doesn’t need the site to have a lot of pages. Adding to many pages to any site just gives the site visitor(potential customer) a way to get lost and possibly not find their way back to your offer. NOT GOOD. Trust me, keep it basic!
Another reason to Keep it short and simple is because you only have a matter of seconds to keep someones interest, so the shorter the better. You want to say what you need to say on that fist page, if they click away to find more information, you have probably lost them.
Think about it this way…. almost every internet guru turned self-made millionaire uses these types of mini-sites to sell you there products everyday. So, there must be something to it, right? Right. Its been tested, its tried and true. It just plain out, works. So why break what isn’t broken? Sure there are the exception, but trust me when I say, there are more case of them working than not. I speak from experience.
So, how does one build something like this for my home based business? How, Justin might I get my eager fingers on mini-site if I have zero web design skills? Well, I am going to tell you… You can buy templates from several sources… you can simply download them for free at http://www.moneyvaultsecrets.com/free-minisite-templates.html. There are 15 free templates. All you have to do is optin and you will be able to download them. But, I guess if you would rather waste your money, than i’m sure you can find many vendors that would be happy to take your money off your hands…
Well, that’s all today, my little marketers and marketdetts…
Until next time… May your money come by the truck load and success rain from the sky!

I have been using blogs as a marketing tool for about a year, and I am very happy with the results. I generally will set up a WordPress blog around a central theme. I use one niche per blog. I start out with general keyword posts, and narrow the scope to long tail keywords with smaller amounts of competition. By targeting keywords in each post, I am receiving searches from people looking for precise information, and the chances that they will actually read the post, and click on my offer are greatly increased. I like to think of each blog as a tree with many branches.
My branches extend out to Web 2.0 properties like Squidoos, free blogs, Hubpages, and Wetpaint sites. The leaves on the branches turn out to the original articles that I link back to my Web 2.0 properties and my original blog. I enjoy article marketing, and it is the perfect marketing tool. I have found this form of marketing to be both convenient and free.
When I began as an online marketer, I used HTML to create websites. I would try to optimize my websites for a handful of keywords, and do everything myself. I was not knowledgeable about link building, article marketing, and social bookmarking did not exist. I made very little money because I received very little traffic to my websites. With the advent of blogs, especially Wordpress blogs, I have had many more successes as an online marketer. Blogs are automatically search engine friendly, and there are tons of free plugins that can help you to optimize your blog. It’s also easy to post on a fairly regular basis, and fresh unique content is another asset.
I love blogging because you can be as creative as you want to be. You choose the theme, the format, the content, and the plugins. Everything is simple, and updates are fast. You will want to create a blog with your own content, point of view, and unique style.
Blogging is a social activity because everyday new people can discover your blog, and relate to your posts. Blog about your hobbies, your life, your lessons, and consider using your blog as a marketing tool. Recommend, be humorous, and make a blog your own.

Despite the huge popularity of blogs around the Internet, people still have so many misconceptions of the whole phenomenon. Here are just some of them and real-world experiences to debunk these myths.
The simplest of all people can start a blog. I don’t think so! Though you don’t have to be super technical when it comes to blogging, you still should know how to use the computer, need an Internet connection and blog hosts (free or paid), some experience using the Internet and most importantly a passion for writing and communicating your thoughts.
Anyone can set up a blog. This comes down to the blog host you are using. Some hosts get far more technical than the average user may be ready for. Some just require you to fill a one-step form and your blogs will be set up in seconds!
Blogging is grade-school. When in comes to blogging, it’s the actual writing that’s the toughest nut to crack. The more engaged and knowledgeable you are with your subject, the easier and more interesting your writing will be.
Most blogs are political. Not really. Many blogs focus on political topics but most blogs are just bloggers discussing their lives, loves and travels.
Blogs are in competition with the main-stream media. This is true in a few cases (not as many cases as bloggers would have you think). Just recently, there have been some very popular and influential social and politically-oriented blogs that have caused main-stream media outlets to back-track and change their coverage of important events.
Bloggers are just having fun criticizing everyone and everything and have no new information to add. True in some cases. Today, blogging is much more than the personal activity it used to be. Corporations, media outlets, public personalities, politicians and experts in almost every field have now joined the ranks of blog producers. Considering all this expertise, one would have to say that bloggers have a lot of new information to add to any debate.
Blogs don’t always tell the truth. That’s a bit of an overstatement. You may read bad information and even intentional untruths in blogs but, for the most part, bloggers who state facts are stating what they honestly believe to be fact. It is always up to the reader to verify that any information they receive is accurate information.

You know that every one of internet marketers discuss about using articles for obtaining added exposure and obtaining home based company victory.
I’m going to discuss to you in this article in relation to writing an article. It’s not the easiest thing in the world to do (others may say it is), but it’s a necessary task for you to go ahead of the battle.
You can write your own articles or you may have them outsourced. If you’re low on budget then I suggest writing your own articles. This will be easy for you if you’re comfortable at writing (or you enjoy writing like I do), but it can be more difficult if you’re not that strong of a writer. I’m going to inform you how to do it a little easier on you (the simplest thing to do of course is outsource, I know I know). Primary thing you are required to do is to take a seat, be at ease, and turn away from any distractions (log out of Twitter!).
What keyword would you want to emphasize today? How about “Home Based Business Success”? The task now is to look for, using that keyword, what you wish to write about. Looking at how that keyword is kind of broad.
You can check out blogs, Twitter, inquire to friends, go to guru’s websites, type in your keyword in a search engine and see what pops up. Use all the various ways you typically use to look for an answer to a query. starting from there, get all the information you found and put it in a notepad file and call it home based business success. This way you understand this file is for this keyword.
Take any of those ideas and attempt to expand on it. Make an outline if you need to or create a list of appealing information that come with it. From there… fill in the data with a lot of words and make it sound good. You just have to write 400 words. That’s not a lot. What you’ve read up to now is a little over 300. If you have researched great information somewhere or a great article, you can use that text and rewrite. Don’t ever plagiarize and copy things word for word.

Bum marketing method is so named that because it’s free for you to do these bum marketing tips. Absolutely no money will need to be used in order to follow the tips that are listed below. So read these bum marketing tips and start bringing in the money.
The more articles you write the better off you will be. But to enjoy it as a bum marketing tip, you will need to do the writing yourself. Or you can find a friend to help out even. The more of these articles that you place all over, your ranking will increase and you will see yourself on page one of many search engines.
Pick a niche that you enjoy, that will make the writing of articles an easy job for you. Writing on a thing you find enjoyable will take little to no time. Now when you go to submit those articles though, you need to stick with major directory places. And always submit to those places.
Start writing blogs on your niche, and more than one blog. Go all over the place and place blogs up; make sure you list your link. See not all of those directories are going to allow your articles to contain your link, so this is the best way to get it out there for people to see.
Go and start some blogs on your niche, this is highly important, because the directories you’ve put articles on may not allow a link to be posted. The only way in that case to get your link out there is via these blog postings.
Include your keyword phrase in your title of your website. Try to make it something that is easy for people to remember though too. Your articles should be informative and possibly give some tips to people. That will have readers more interested and want to see your site.
Don’t use your real name when submitting those articles. Just in case you don’t feel they are high quality, and your competitors will not be able to find you as easily either. Finally you need to be persistent and keep pushing no matter what. Trying and trying to get your articles on those major directories, and writing new stuff each day.
Try avoiding using your real name when you submit an article, and don’t post your real name on the article either. This will avoid your competition from being able to search and find your niche and steal your ideas. Plus if you’re not a great writer, it can save you a bit of embarrassment. Finally, use these bum marketing tips today and get on your way to earning money.

Website owners and bloggers are always looking for ways to increase traffic to their site and reach a larger audience. One of the more popular methods, especially for bloggers, is social media marketing. While some people are using social media with tremendous results, others are hesitant to dedicate time and effort. Here are 6 reasons that you should be using social media if you are not already.
1. Potential for Tons of Traffic
For those bloggers and website owners that do use social media to promote their site, most likely what first caught their attention was the traffic potential. Although there are plenty of other ways to market a site, not many other methods carry as much potential as social media. Anyone can have success with social media with the right approach and effort.
2. Link Building / SEO
Many of those who chose not to promote their sites with social media say that they are dedicating their time and effort towards building higher quality traffic from search engines. However, the truth is that social media marketing is one of the best ways to build in-bound links, which is the most important factor for increasing search engine rankings.
If your post does well with social media you will get the links from the social media sites themselves, plus it will likely draw links from other bloggers as a result of the exposure it has received. This is a great low-cost way to build links.
3. Viral Nature of SMM
Some of the best social media content will be passed around by thousands of users of various social media sites. You may promote your content in one place, but others may pick it up and pass it around the web without any additional effort on your part.
While the viral effect will only work for the very best content, it can have a huge impact. Part of the reason it is so great is that you will be benefiting from the efforts of the other users who are spreading the word without any effort on your part to do so.
4. Large, Diverse Audience
Social media sites like Digg, Twitter and Facebook continue to grow, and the potential audience for social media marketers keeps growing as well. Just about any site can find a targeted audience of social media users.
As a marketer, one of your tasks is to get people to visit the site. With SMM the potential is huge. Even though social media visitors may not be the most highly-targeted traffic, the volume can often make up for that.
5. Free
SMM can be done by anyone who is willing to learn and put in some effort. You can always hire a professional to help with SMM, but that is an option not a necessity. Very few marketing methods bring this combination of potential traffic and low cost requirements.
Even if you do choose to hire a professional, most likely the costs will be less than other types of marketing, and if they are effective the results can be even better.
6. Networking Potential
Social media marketing is social - I know that’s a big surprise. With all the attention on traffic and exposure it’s easy to overlook the potential to meet and connect with other bloggers and social media uses. You will likely find that the networking aspect will be equally as beneficial as the traffic that you receive directly from the social media sites.

Twitter is the hottest online trend right now, and it provides an incredible opportunity for marketers and bloggers. Use Twitter on a regular basis to build up a list of followers, then you can tweet links to your blog and posts.
Of course, you don’t want to only tweet about your own links, be a real Twitter user and promote your posts occasionally. The more followers you have the more likely you are to get re-tweets which can lead to a lot more traffic.

7. Blogroll Link Exchanges
Because links have such a significant impact on search engine rankings, link exchanges are very common. Getting some link partners (maybe 5 -10) in your niche can help to start to build the credibility of your new blog.
You will start to get some inbound links to your site, which can help to enhance your credibility with the search engines.

There are any number of things you can do to promote a new blog, some are productive and others are a waste of time. In this article we will focus on 7 techniques that can produce impressive, and quick, results for new blogs.
1. Social Media
Social media websites bring tons of traffic potential. Best of all, they are free to use and even new blogs have a chance to get some love from social media. For these reasons it is a must-use for new bloggers.
In order to have success in terms of getting traffic from social media sites, you will need to be an active user yourself so that you can understand how social media works, network with other users, and start to understand what types of content the users react to.
Now you should be able to create some content based on what you know the social media users tend to respond to.
2. Social Networking Site Profiles
Although you won’t get a huge traffic rush from it, linking to your new blog from your profiles on sites like Facebook and MySpace can be a good start to build some links and start getting some visitors to the blog.
While this may not have huge results, it will only take a few minutes and will be worth your time.
3. Use Twitter
Twitter has exploded in the past year to become a must for online marketers. If you can actively use Twitter on a regular basis and build up an audience of followers, sending out some tweets about your blog or posts can make a big impact.
Of course, you don’t want to only tweet about your own links, be a real Twitter user and promote your posts occasionally. The more followers you have the more likely you are to get re-tweets which can lead to a lot more traffic.

6. Write Guest Posts for Other Blogs
Possibly the best way to promote your new blog is to write posts at other blogs that have a similar audience. That way you can showcase your knowledge and expertise to targeted readers, and you will get a brief author bio that includes a link to your blog.
One of the best things about guest posting is that you will get to meet other bloggers and make some valuable connections. Write a quality article for another blogger an they will remember you.
7. Link Exchanges
Link exchanges are very popular because of the impact that inbound links have on search engine rankings. I’m not suggesting that you go nuts and exchange links with a hundred blogs, but trading links with 5 or 10 blogs in your niche can be a big help.
Starting to get some in-bound links can help to establish your blog in the eyes of search engines.
